The MariEL ®
energy
work system was developed by Ethel Lombardi, one of the very first U.S.
masters of Reiki, the powerful energy work system originally from
Japan. She developed her own system of energy work, MariEL ®,
in
large part so that people could get in touch with their own happiness,
in a quick and easy way.

My first experience
with
MariEL ® was a sample that affected me
beyond my expectations. I had an emotional release that left me feeling

Works
Like
an iceberg, most of our emotions are not visible on the surface, or
conscious, level. Even emotions experienced a long, long time ago can
still be affecting us if we have ignored, repressed or denied them.
By
becoming aware of
these
emotions, and by consciously
releasing them without judgment,
a person receiving a MariEL™ session can release the hold
these emotions have over their life.
According to the MariEL
® system, happiness is not something to be earned or achieved;
it's an amazing sense of well-being that is underneath all of our
emotions and thinking. It’s the basic nature of our self:
happy, loving, and peaceful.
Because it’s
our basic nature, it can never be taken away from us, no matter how
dismal things might look. We get a glimpse of this when we fall in
love, or miraculously escape serious injury.
But most of the time,
we’re out of touch with this sense of well-being: it needs to
be uncovered by releasing the various negative emotions that most of us
have been squirreling away for a long time.
This uncovering and
releasing is the most important benefit someone can get from a
MariEL™ session. Some people get a deeper sense of happiness,
that life is “OK just the way it is,” even amid
daily stresses. A person may also get an increased ability to love and
trust him/herself and
others.
Usefulness in
healing the physical body
MariEL can also be of use in helping the physical body. Some people
have experienced reduction of physical pain or muscle weakness or other
symptoms. In general, MariEL ® can help a person reduce stress
and thereby strengthen their immune system.
It's
impossible to make any guarantees here, or to predict
what someone's response will be. Sometimes people experience a great
reduction in symptoms, sometimes they don't.
Some people request that the specific focus of a
MariEL
session to be on the physical body. This is not a problem.
The next step is up to
you. I can't guarantee that this MariEL energy
work will be of help to you, but you certainly
will never know if you don't give it a try. You have only a little time
and money to lose, since the amount you pay for the first session is
entirely up to you. Potentially you could gain a whole lot.
MariEL ® is not exactly a big "brand name" in energy work, but
it can be very powerful, a way to find your own way
back into your own heart, well-being and happiness.

Sessions
last about an hour or so. The first session costs whatever you feel
like paying: whatever you think it's worth and can afford. While MariEL
is powerful
for most people, not everyone seems to get powerful results. So the
first session is a way to give it a "test drive" and see if it's
helpful to you.
After the first session, the price is $30 to $100: you choose the
amount.
Sessions can either be done in-person in the Chicago area, or over the
phone.
It might seem odd that this can be done over the phone. It's odd to me,
too, but it works. If it doesn't work, don't pay
me anything.

How
MariEL ® Works
MariEL
® works on a person's
energy field. Unlike the circulatory system, or nervous system, the
energy field is little known in the US. I hold my hand about 4 inches
(10 cm) away and tune into the client's energy field and thru a series
of techniques, help release blockages to that field.
The cooperation
that I need is the client paying attention and having a willingness to
release whatever in their energy field that is not serving them
well. No belief is required: if you're skeptical, that's fine.

knowing dimly that they have one.
